Media Release: ASI To Offer Non-Profits SOA Web Services
- New Web-Based Interface Enables Customers and Partners to Integrate Third-Party Applications into iMIS -

Melbourne, 11th August 2010 Advanced Solutions International (ASI), the largest, privately-owned global provider of web-based software for member and donor-based non-profits, today announced the availability of iMIS 15.1.3. The latest evolution of iMIS features a Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) Web Services Application Programming Interface (API).

This new universal, web-based API allows customers and partners to easily integrate third-party applications into iMIS, regardless of technology or application platform, without affecting the product upgrade path. Developer documentation for iMIS SOA Web Services is available in the SDK Center of the iMIS Developer’s Community.

Media Release: Madison Down Under prompts largest round of ASI’s SMART Company Scholarship Fund
- Eight recipients and over $9000 awarded in June 2010 -

Melbourne, 3rd August 2010: Advanced Solutions International (ASI) today announced that the latest round of the ASI SMART Company Scholarship Fund has committed over $9,000 to the professional development of eight recipients working in the not-for-profit sector.

The largest round in the history of the Fund had applications requesting more than $80,000 of funding. Over half of the requests were to attend the Fundraising Institute of Australia’s (FIA) intensive fundraising educational program, Madison Down Under, which starts on August 13th in the Barossa Valley.

The Associations Forum National Conference 2010 was held at Crown Conference Centre in Melbourne this week. More than 400 attended the two days which was packed with great sessions. Melbourne, Australia, July 22nd –Advanced Solutions International (ASI) – the developer of iMIS -will explain how associations can improve their processes around membership renewal and reduce time inputting data and duplicating effort in a presentation at The Associations Forum National Conference 2010, taking place on July 27th and 28th at The Crown Conference Centre, Melbourne.

Paul Ramsbottom, managing director at ASI Asia-Pacific will discuss with association executives that the significant resources put into the renewal process and complex renewal forms are a thing of the past with the internet and electronic banking changing all of that, and that today a membership renewal is just a transaction where “less is more”.

Melbourne, 15th July 2010: Advanced Solutions International (ASI) has appointed Ian Wilcock and Bob Ko as business development managers for the Asia-Pacific region in a move to grow its customer base further and expand the company into new markets and territories.

Based in Melbourne both Ian and Bob will be tasked with expanding sales for the company across Australia and New Zealand and further afield to South East Asia.

MEDIA RELEASE: Advanced Solutions International Sign New Sponsorship Agreement With The Fundraising Institute Of Australia

Melbourne, April 28th, 2010

Advanced Solutions International (ASI) today announced that it has signed a new three year principal sponsorship agreement with the Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA).

The FIA is the national body representing professional fundraising in Australia and has over 1600 members. The Institute’s primary role is to provide support to fundraising professionals through the promotion of standards, providing professional development opportunities and measurable credentials so that members can achieve best practice.

We are pleased to announce the Review Panel for the 2010 ASI SMART Company Scholarship Fund.

Our Review Panel of Paul Ramsbottom and Julie Willett will be joined each funding round by a rotating panellist selected from ASI staff.

Last week Melbourne staff celebrated the festive season with dinner at a local greek restaurant. Here are a few pictures from the night.

ASI's SMART Company Scholarship Fund is again offering financial assistance for your professional development. The fund offers four rounds of funding each year (March, June, September & December). Applications for the current round must be received no later than Thursday 10th December 2009.

The Fund specifically assists staff working in Not-For-Profit organisations and has provided grants to more than 70 individuals over the past three years.

If you are not an ASI customer - we invite you to apply in this round for our fully funded scholarships to undertake the Fundraising Institute of Australia Skills 123 Training Courses (see under Program Part A).
