Visit with the Sydney consulting team last weekAside from spending 6 extra hours at the airport waiting on broken planes, I travelled to Sydney and Brisbane this last week. Most of my time was in Sydney. On Tuesday I caught up with Amanda K, Sarah and Jason. First up, I had a great lunch with Amanda K, which is part of our new exclusive quarterly recognition luncheon. Amanda was invited to this luncheon with me as she was celebrating a special 2 year anniversary with ASI. We sat overlooking the water at King Street Wharf and talked horses, farm life, and even a little bit of work. Later in the afternoon I went over to see Sarah at her home, which will be the last time I get to see her before baby is born. Sarah is pretty much set to go – the baby room is all finished (with some extra help from Jason doing the flooring), and she has a nice stock of little baby jump suits and booties! Sarah has been doing it very tough the last couple of months and is getting ready for life as a single mum. But she really looked great this week, I am really proud of her. The day finished having dinner with Jason and the Rowe family – and getting some playtime with my godson Xavier, which I always look forward to. He is a bundle of energy at the moment! And really getting smart – counting to 10, knowing the names and sounds of all the farm animals, and knowing the names of all the fruit and vege’s in his little plastic cooking set. For me - work days don't get much better than this.
