Inside ASI-AP

Bob, Keith and I today visited our new and first KL customer - World Wildlife Fund Malaysia (WWF) www.wwfmalaysia.org. We met with the fundraising team, lead by Bow, and Melinda and Shani.

We were taken on a tour of the office to start with, including the program areas where current major projects include tigers and turtles. They are expanding in the program and fundraising departments and have just recently taken over some adjacent office space to give them more room.

We had a false start with the implementation project, so today we presented an updated project plan that Lesley had prepared and took them through it. Most the implementation will now occur in Q1 2007.

After our meetings, we joined them for lunch at a nearby local restaurant.

The charities that make up the conservation movement in KL are all very closely linked, with many sharing board members and chairman between them. WWF is an important project for us to deliver with excellence, and WWF is highly regarded in the region.

It was a very enjoyable visit!
