Independent study shows that iMIS is the leading association management systemLehman Associates in the US recently completed a study on Association Management Systems, which showed that iMIS holds 37% market share in the US, that iMIS ranks highest among major AMS vendors in implementation experience, and iMIS ranks higher than the combined average ratings of other major AMS vendors in product satisfaction. Edward has a full copy of the report for anyone wanting the specific details. ----- Lehman Associates Study Shows iMIS is the Market Leading Association Management System Survey Validates ASI’s 'Customer for Life' Commitment ALEXANDRIA, Va., (August 13, 2007) — Advanced Solutions International (ASI), the leading global provider of web-based software for nonprofits, today announced the 2007 Lehman Report on the Association Management System (AMS) Market underscores the company’s dominance in this space. The research shows iMIS holds a leadership position with a 37 percent market share, ranks highest among major AMS vendors in implementation experience, and ranks higher than the combined average ratings of other major AMS vendors in product satisfaction. The study also showed that these associations assign only moderate value to the contribution of external consultants in the software purchase process. Associations who used an external consultant to help make a new AMS product purchase gave those consultants an average value rating of 6.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 (where 10 is the highest rating). Lehman Associates interviewed and compiled data from national and international associations with budget sizes of $2 million or greater in North America over the first half of 2007. Respondents were asked to provide information on their current use of AMS technology, buying habits and level of use, as well as satisfaction levels. "This is the second year we have conducted this survey," said Tom Lehman, president, Lehman Associates. "We believe our study is the most comprehensive look at this critical marketplace. The AMS purchase decision is one of the largest and most strategic technology decision made by most associations."
