Friendraising campaign kicks off

This week we kicked off a new campaign to promote Friendraising. A direct mail campaign inviting prospects to attend seminars in Melbourne (29th April in ASI office) and Sydney (30th April at the Grace Hotel) began and will be followed up with emails and phone contact.

This seminar series will focus on the concept of friendraising (rather than the product). Attached is a copy of the postcard invite and below is copy of the letter that has been posted to contacts.

Discover the power of Friendraising and how it
can get you ten times more donors

Learn how an exciting new concept called Friendraising is sweeping the non-profit sector and empowering supporters, reaching more donors and increasing donations.

Dear FIRSTNAME

Enclosed is an invitation to a complimentary event at Advanced Solutions International at our Melbourne offices in Collins Street on Tuesday 29 April 2008.

The presentation is based on Advanced Solutions International’s leading expertise in developing cutting-edge solutions for the non-profit sector.

Over morning tea, you’ll meet Jay McCormack — who will explore with you the critical question on the lips of many non-profit executives, ‘how do we entice more people to support and help spread the word about our cause?’

In answering this question, Jay will introduce you to a new concept called Friendraising.

Big rewards await those who master Friendraising

It’s one thing to build relationships with a database of donors — and quite another to easily enable each individual donor to network and promote your cause amongst their peers.

Friendraising has the power to do this. It can create a self-sustaining ripple effect that can’t help but spread the word to others.

As well as exploring what Friendraising could mean for you and your next campaign, Jay will explore important issues such as:

* Integrating Friendraising into your current fundraising strategies.
* Understanding, motivating and thanking your donors and introducing online events to the list of ways a donor can help.
* How to identify campaign 'champions' among your donors and equip them with tools that will rapidly expand your donor network.
* Methods of creating friendly competition and building individual and team incentives into your campaigns.

The concepts delivered at this event will help you to build systems that reach more donors, increase donations and empower your strongest supporters.

You can register for this free event now at www.friendraising.com.au. If you have colleagues that you feel will also benefit from this event, you are welcome to extend this invitation to them.

We look forward to seeing you and your colleagues at this event.
