Pink Ribbon Breakfast for breast cancer live on iMIS FriendraisingThe first event run by our new iMIS 15 customer - the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) www.nbcf.org.au - is now live online and ready for registrations, sponsors and donations. The Pink Ribbon Breakfast is a well known annual event with many high profile stars as ambassadors led by chief ambassador Sarah Murdoch. The Pink Ribbon Breakfast website www.pinkribbonbreakfast.org.au went live this week using the iMIS Friendraising module. The registration home page is shown above. I have already signed up a team for ASI under the iMIS Friendraising name, and since I got in early before any media announcements we are currently showing in the list of top teams - see here: ASi will be hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast on Monday 27 October to celebrate the achievements of the implementation team and to raise money for breast cancer research. More details to come - but donations are being accepted online now via our personal home page. The NBCF team had an aggressive time table to get iMIS 15 live and both the Pink Ribbon Breakfast website and the Global Illumination website live in the first week of August. A national media campaign will soon begin to promote the sites. It was certainly a busy couple of weeks in the lead up including stand out efforts from our own ASI team led by Jason, the Avion team (Nasser), the Praxis Fundraising team (Jill and Vanessa) and the Artez team over in Toronto. And of course the entire team at NBCF. Congratulations to everyone. I will be in Sydney next week attending the next steering committee meeting which will be followed by a "go live" celebration.
