Great Things Award for RACGP

At the Discovery conference in November we announced the 2 'Great Things' award winners for 2006. Caritas was at the conference and received their award then. RACGP were not able to attend due to a schedule conflict with their own conference, so last Friday myself, Bilal, Colin and Mick headed down to RACGP for a mini-presentation of their 'Great Things' award.

Shown in the photo (from left) is Kim Keane (IT Manager), David Wright (CEO), and Dr Vasantha Preetham (President) receiving the award from me.

RACGP won the award for their outstanding achievement in launching the new www.racgp.org.au website in 2006. The website is built on iMIS e-Content Manager and includes integration with their GPLearning Online system and online QA&CPD credit point statements from iMIS. They implemented the new website with only minimal assistance from ASI, but when they did Bilal was there to help. And the feedback on Bilal was excellent - "Kim has again conveyed to me his feelings of complete satisfaction on the work Bilal has done, what a fantastic work ethic he has and what a great asset he is to the Project Delivery team he must be".

Feedback on the website - hits are growing steadily, and David and the management team at GP's get it - in fact, their Australian Family Physician podcast is now ranking in the top 5 of health podcasts.
