Great Things Award for NiUG Discovery Conference

Speaking of the Discovery conference, we have changed the nomination process for this years "Great Things Award". Last year, we asked customers to nominate themselves; this year, we are asking ASI staff to nominate customers. And if you nominate the winning customer, you will win Gold Class movie tickets!

iMIS ACHIEVING GREAT THINGS AWARD ... calling on staff to nominate!

We will again be presenting an award to an iMIS customer at the upcoming NiUG Discovery Conference. The award will be presented to a customer who has used iMIS to "Achieve Great Things". The winning organisation will be announced at the conference during the Networking Dinner on Thursday 11th October 2007.

Independent study shows that iMIS is the leading association management system

Lehman Associates in the US recently completed a study on Association Management Systems, which showed that iMIS holds 37% market share in the US, that iMIS ranks highest among major AMS vendors in implementation experience, and iMIS ranks higher than the combined average ratings of other major AMS vendors in product satisfaction.

We put out a press release summarising the results, which I have copied in below. Edward has a full copy of the report for anyone wanting the specific details.

AIM Vic/Tas celebration lunch today

Marilyn, Mick and I attended an all-staff lunch at AIM Vic/Tas today. The purpose of the lunch was to celebrate the success of the iMIS project and the successes of AIM generally in the 2006 year. About 60 people all up were in attendance, and included an opening address by the AIM CEO and a follow up vote of thanks from the AIM President/Chairman.

Susan (AIM's CEO) gave particular thanks to Eddie and the AIM/IMS project team, and made special mention of our own Marilyn as being outstanding. Richard (AIM's President), who is a Partner at KPMG, also made special mention of the iMIS project, and in particular that it was delivered on-time and on-budget, and just how important that was to the Board and the organisation generally. He has been involved before in numerous IT/CRM implementations and knew from experience what a challenge they can be, so his congratulations to the project team were from a position of knowledge.

Visit to Australian Road Cycling Championships

Shearne and I were invited today up to Ballarat to see iMIS in action at the Australian Road Cycling Championships www.aorcc.com which is run by Cycling Australia. Ron was our host in between his duties at manning the timing and results equipment which is linked in to iMIS.

We got to see both the mens and womens 28km time trials. The circuit is very tough, lots of hills, but I was surprised how fast these men and women go, averaging over 40km/h up and down pretty big hills.

Great Things Award for RACGP

At the Discovery conference in November we announced the 2 'Great Things' award winners for 2006. Caritas was at the conference and received their award then. RACGP were not able to attend due to a schedule conflict with their own conference, so last Friday myself, Bilal, Colin and Mick headed down to RACGP for a mini-presentation of their 'Great Things' award.

Visit to Plunket

Jason and I met on Monday with Paul (CEO), Allison (Finance/InfoSys GM) and Liz (Marketing/Comms GM) for a 2.5 hour workshop on setting a roadmap for Plunket over the coming 2 years and have that aligned with iMIS. Plunket have a very strong brand in NZ – in fact they see 92% of new babies every year – and have the potential to utilise technology to build on the strong community networks they already have in place. The future for them is very exciting! Plunket website here www.plunket.org.nz.

iMIS gets the thumbs up in Australia and New Zealand

A recent survey of iMIS customers in Australia and New Zealand found that 87% of respondents gave iMIS the thumbs up answering that they were satisfied with their iMIS software solution.

More than 220 not for profit organisations using iMIS were surveyed by independent agency BMS Telecorp on behalf of ASI during May.

The annual survey’s focus was to look at customers’ use of iMIS and gauge the level of satisfaction with their iMIS software solution and the level of service and support from ASI and Authorised iMIS Solution Providers.
