The first week of June marked the beginning of Customer Briefings - the topic: iMIS 15.1 Maximise your Potential. So far we have presented in Perth and Wellington. Other capitals are being scheduled for the coming month.

The purpose of the briefing is to show a lot of the great new features of 15.1. Customers will see a lot of benefit in Site Designer, Content Designer, IQA Improvements and also SSRS support (SQL Server Reporting Services). There is real potential in 15.1 for every customer.

As part of the briefing we also recommend every customer review their iMIS usage regularly - get back to basics and make sure you are making the most of your current investment. We provide each attendee with a personalised iMIS Value Cycle profile for their organisation to help them have meaningful discussions with their Customer Sales Executive or other ASI Staff.

ASI Customer Sales staff are hitting the road in June to host a series of face to face Customer Briefings that will coincide with the release of iMIS 15.1.

Perth - Thursday 4 June
Wellington - Thursday 11 June
Melbourne, Brisbane & Sydney dates to be confirmed

The briefings will offer customers the opportunity to catch up with the local iMIS Community and meet with ASI staff.

Presented will be valuable information on:
• New features of iMIS 15.1 - the latest release of iMIS
• The iMIS Get Smart initiative - a roadmap for navigating the economic downturn
• Recession-Buster discounts available to iMIS customers.

Liza and I had an introductory meeting this week with our new Authorised iMIS Consultant (AiC) in New Zealand - Mr Bruce McPhail from Karapoti Consulting - www.karapoticonsulting.co.nz.

Bruce has been working with a number of iMIS customers in NZ for the past year but recently agreed to formalise his relationship with us by becoming authorised and formally joining the iMIS community. Bruce is a 25 year industry IT veteran and brings this experience to iMIS customers.

The outcome of the call with Bruce was to outline a training plan to fill the gaps in Bruce's iMIS skills and to help him drive customer satisfaction for iMIS customers in NZ.

It’s been a busy few weeks for me meeting CEO’s. 2 more this week in NZ. I really appreciate this opportunity to talk about ASI values and our mission, and to talk business.

Today I met with the management team of a NZ prospect that are about to join the iMIS community. The questions from the CEO are always great questions. Today it was:

1. What are the critical success factors in an iMIS implementation?

Jason and I met on Monday with Paul (CEO), Allison (Finance/InfoSys GM) and Liz (Marketing/Comms GM) for a 2.5 hour workshop on setting a roadmap for Plunket over the coming 2 years and have that aligned with iMIS. Plunket have a very strong brand in NZ – in fact they see 92% of new babies every year – and have the potential to utilise technology to build on the strong community networks they already have in place. Jason and I were in Wellington on Monday 11th and we hosted Christmas drinks for customers in the Wellington area. In attendance were:

Jason and I both got a chance to talk with everyone there. The mood was positive all around about iMIS, all were very appreciative that we were there talking with them, although a couple of customers need to us to work with them so they can get more out of iMIS than they do (they already know it can do more).
